Ugly is a collection of ugly pictures, writing, and film. It addresses a range of ugliness, primarily including things that fall on either side of this spectrum.

The main goal is to discover things that are unintentionally and thus genuinely ugly.

FAVORITE SONGS FROM CHEESY 1980’S FILMS, PART 1

“I am the Future” by Alice Cooper in Class of 1984

Apocalyptic, absurd, threatening, and..utterly ridiculous, this song is the perfect opener for the cartoonish film that follows. Just like the song, Class of 1984 persistently tries to hint at a higher message, but ends up being little more than a sub-par imitation of Clockwork Orange, chock full stereotypically controversial themes that attract attention but don’t amount to more than a campy, dystopian fantasy.

Favorite lyrics:

Take a look at my face, I am the future
How do you like what you see?
Take a look at my face, I belong to the future
And YOU belong to ME

Bonus:

Watch the whole film on YouTube, while it’s still around!
